The reality of intersectional oppression

Young, working-class Black and Brown women are too often denied access to the opportunities needed to thrive and fully embrace city life.

Black and Brown people are twice as likely to be unemployed as their White peers. Despite being twice as likely to attend university, they have to send 60% more CVs to secure a job for which they are equally qualified.

Structural racism prevents our community of women from realising their potential. We exist to rebalance the scales. Having already transformed the lives of over 600 women, we help individuals to access new opportunities, build confidence and reclaim the city as their own, in their personal and professional lives.

Our young women’s programme

Our award-winning, human-centred programme is designed to equip young women, aged 18 - 30, with the skills, resources, and support they need to break into and shine as part of the workforce.

Through hands-on workshops, mentorship from industry leaders, networking, and work placements, we help women to navigate the challenges of the job market, unlock their potential and build happy, fulfilling lives.

Partnering with businesses

We partner with anti racist businesses and brands who share our vision of building inclusive workplaces and investing in racially minoritised talent.

Partner with us by hosting work placements, sponsoring our empowerment programme, or mentorship training for staff. Together, we can help young women excel in their careers and strengthen your commitment to diversifying the workforce, from the top down.
